Made by hand in California, USA, one at a time, after you order. Here is how to look after it, what happens if something goes wrong, and how to put a chain back together yourself.
Sizing details
Specific sizing details and dimensions are listed directly in the product description of each item.
Care instructions
Handle with Care: While your suncatcher is hanging, avoid pulling, tugging, or tightly twisting the chain. The hanging hardware carries the natural amount of weight of the suncatcher, but applying extra force or allowing the chain to twist excessively can weaken the metal chain links and cause them to open or separate. Should a fall occur, your suncatcher may be damaged.
Indoor Use Only: Outdoor elements can damage and degrade the materials over time.
Routine Dusting: Gently wipe the bead strands with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
Restoring Shine: You may use glass cleaner on the beads to bring back their sparkle but avoid contact with the chain, pot, or wire, as the chemicals may stain or tarnish the metal.
Returns and exchanges
Because each suncatcher is made-to-order, all sales are generally final. Returns or exchanges will only be accepted in the event an incorrect item is shipped.
Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with EU and UK compliance laws, buyers residing in these regions have 14 days from delivery to request a return for any reason.
For these mandatory EU/UK returns, or any other exceptional return authorized by the shop, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Packaging and shipping
We all know how delicate suncatchers are! To ensure your item arrives in perfect condition, each suncatcher is carefully wrapped in protective bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy box clearly marked with “Fragile” stickers.

Suncatcher chain hanger repair
If your suncatcher’s chain has come apart, don’t panic! It’s usually a quick and easy fix.
Here’s how:
- Use a pair of pliers (or tweezers) to slide the open chain link back onto the next link.
- Cover the contact points of the pliers with a piece of tape or cloth to avoid damaging the polished metal, and gently squeeze the sides of the open link together until the two ends meet, fully closing the link.
- Sometimes more than one link can open, so be sure to inspect the rest of the chain and fully close any other partially open links to secure the chain hanger entirely and prevent future failure.
If your chain is severely damaged, you’ve lost a piece, or need additional help, please reach out at karen@nanoexoticsus.com and I’d be more than happy to assist.
